Jul 18, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. Abitibi-Consolidated Inc. and Bowater Inc. said Bowater Chief Executive David Paterson will be the CEO of the combined company, AbitibiBowater. Bowater's Chief Financial Officer William Harvey was named CFO of the new company, the companies said in a joint statement. Bowater agreed in January to buy Abitibi and create AbitibiBowater Inc.
