Aug 25, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Ahlstrom announces price increases on its Air and Liquid filter media produced by the Advanced Filtration business area. The price increases will be made to compensate for the continued high level of raw material costs, utilities-related inflation and regional currency impacts, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The price increases will affect all advanced filtration products worldwide and will be effective starting from November 1, 2014. The increases will be up to 10% depending on markets, products and the agreements in place.

Air and Liquid filter media manufactured by the Advanced Filtration business area is used in air applications including high efficiency air, gas turbine, and industrial air as well as liquid applications for laboratory and life sciences, water treatment, and various process industries. Ahlstrom's Advanced Filtration business area has production sites in six countries.
