Appleton said that its International Division has notified its customers that the company has raised prices 7% for carbonless sheet products sold into Mexico, PaperAge reported. The company also raised prices 6% for all its direct thermal products sold to all international markets. Appleton said the increases are necessary to offset a portion of the extraordinary escalation of raw materials, energy, and transportation costs. The increases are effective with shipments starting September 1, 2008.
