The Archwood Group has appointed Tony Miles as new CEO, with effect from February 1, TTJ reported.
Mr Miles joins Archwood from International Timber, a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution, where he has been managing director since 2007, having initially joined the group in 1979.
A well-known figure in the UK timber and wood products industry, Mr Miles has worked in this sector for his entire career. He is a past president of the North West Timber Trade Association and is currently a board member of the Confederation of Timber Industries.
