The company cited steadily rising prices for pulp, which show no signs of letting up, as the reason for the price hike. In the U.S. and Europe, the price for NBSK pulp since the beginning of the year has climbed nearly $150 per ton, to the current average prices of $975 per ton and $945 per ton, respectively.
