The shareholders of Asahi India Glass (BSE:AISG) and FloatGlass India (FGI) have approved the amalgamation of FGI with its holding company, Asahi India. The proposal for merger was unanimously approved by the equity shareholders and secured and unsecured creditors of Asahi India on March 29, 2003 in Delhi under the directions of the Delhi High Court.
