The majority of leading Australian wholesale buyers, retailers and end-users of communication papers were invited by APP's Australian agent to attend a Melbourne symposium in mid-2008. The company has recently been dumped by a number of offshore retailers, including US-based office products giant, Staples, due to its poor environmental record. APP's efforts to enter the Australian market place it in competition with listed paper merchant and manufacturer, PaperlinX.
