Aug 11, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Polish-Ukrainian joint-venture Barlinek-Ukraine (Ukraine, Vinnica) has built a boiler-house using wood waste, enterprise’s PR director Kazemir Vyrostek said. According to him, boiler-house worth UAH 3.5 million ($697 600) was set into operation in the beginning of the August 2006. New boiler-house allows to utilize wood waste and provides 50% of thermal energy necessary for enterprise. In July 2006 EBRD decided to assign Euro 40 million to Polish Barlinek for construction of parquet producing line in Vinnica. In April 2006 Polish-Ukrainian joint-venture Barlinek-Ukraine set into operation Euro 3 million wood-processing mill there. The mill produces intermediates for fabricated wood block flooring, its productive capacity is 45 000 cubic meters of wood per annum. The raw material will be supplied from forestries of Western Ukraine.
