Boxes supplies to the US increased 5,1% in April 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003, while boxes stores reached a record low level, according to American Forest and Paper Association report. The enterprises declined boxboard stores down 62 thousand tons to 2,29 million tons – the lowest rate since 1994. The increase in supplies by 5,1% in April increased the overall supplies growth within 4 months in 2004 to 2,7%. The enterprises producing boxboard were operation at 94,4% capacity on average (at 93,8% in March 2004).
