stores in England,
ITTO reported.
According to the company
while exporters are only required to have official Brazilian documents related
to timber transport (Document of Forest Origin - GF3) this was considered
insufficient to ensure and demonstrate the legal origin of wood.
The British company
has moved to strengthen its chain of custody audit and has contracted
specialists in Brazil
to assist with this.
