Calvert Company of Vancouver, Wash., and Cascade Structural Laminators of Chehalis, Wash., are joining forces under the banner of Calvert Co, as Random Lengths reported. The exact timing for the transfer of business has yet to be determined. The companies made the announcement to resolve the question about the future direction of Cascade Structural Laminators. Cascade's main manufacturing facility was destroyed in a fire last May. It is anticipated that the transaction will close in mid-November. Steve Killgore, President of Cascade, will be retained by Calvert as a sales and product development specialist.
