Canadian lumber production decreased by 3.5% in January
Canadian sawmills increased lumber production by 7.2% from December to 4 847.0 thousand cubic metres in January. Compared with January 2014, lumber production decreased by 3.5%.

Sawmills shipped 4 541.0 thousand cubic metres of lumber in January,
down 0.8% from December.
