Canadian lumber production increased by 1.4% in April
Lumber production by Canadian sawmills increased by 1.4% from March to 5 255.9 thousand cubic metres in April. Compared with April 2013, lumber production declined by 2.9%.

production declined by 2.9%, as Statistics Canada said in the press release
received by Lesprom Network.
Sawmills shipped 4 970.2 thousand cubic metres of lumber in April, up 13.4%
from March.
