Canfor completed transfer of Englewood logging division and TFL 37
Mar 17, 2006. Canadian Canfor Corporation announced that, following the receipt of regulatory clearance under the federal Competition Act and by the British Columbia Ministry of Forests, and further to its news release of December 15, 2005, the transfer of its Englewood Logging Operation on Northern Vancouver Island, including Tree Farm License (TFL) 37 from a fibre partnership jointly owned by Canfor and Oji Paper Canada Ltd. to Western Forest Products has completed.

Canadian Canfor Corporation announced that, following the receipt of regulatory clearance under the federal Competition Act and by the British Columbia Ministry of Forests, and further to its news release of December 15, 2005, the transfer of its Englewood Logging Operation on Northern Vancouver Island, including Tree Farm License (TFL) 37 from a fibre partnership jointly owned by Canfor and Oji Paper Canada Ltd. to Western Forest Products has completed. In return, Howe Sound Pulp and Paper receives a long-term fibre supply from Western Forest Products. The restructuring of Howe Sound’s long term debt with its lenders is in progress.
