Chandos Timber was founded in May 2000 and reported a turnover of GBP 10 million ($ 16 million) in the year to 31 March 2010.
A contributory factor in the collapse was the failure of contractor Rok which is understood to have owed the business about GBP 400,000 ($636,132).
The administrator said that prospective purchasers were still looking at buying the assets of the company, including plant, machinery and ongoing contracts.
