Change of Finnforest directors’ market areas
Dec 22, 2004. Timo Kouri has been appointed Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He will continue to be responsible for the eastern central European countries of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, and for markets in the USA and the Asia-Pacific region.

He will continue to be responsible for the eastern central European countries of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, and for markets in the USA and the Asia-Pacific region.
John Tong has been appointed Director for France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and the Netherlands. He will continue to be responsible for markets in the UK and Ireland.
Timo Kouri and John Tong are members of Finnforest’s corporate management board and report to the President and CEO of Finnforest Corporation.
The changes have been made in connection with the appointment of Ole Salvén as President and CEO of Finnforest’s largest subsidiary, Moelvén Industrier ASA, which is responsible for Finnforest Corporation’s activities in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Mr Salvén is presently Finnforest’s Director for Continental Western Europe and will become President and CEO at Moelven 1.2.2005, on the retirement of Industrial Counsellor Bo Borgstrom, Moelven’s current President and CEO.
