Nov 11, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. China imported 20,000 cubic meters of plywood in October, according to preliminary data issued by the General Administration of Customs. The country imported a total of 210,000 cubic meters of plywood in the first 10 months, down 1.6% on year, it said. The country also imported 690,000 tons of pulp last month, and the imports in the January-October totaled 8.26 million tons, up 16.9% on year, customs said. Meanwhile, it imported 280,000 tons of paper and paper board in October for a total of 3.06 million tons in the first 10 months, down 10.5%, it said.
