DLH to sell its land and buildings in Belem, Brazil

Oct 08, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. DLH concluded an agreement to sell the Group᾿s land and buildings in Belem, Brazil, effective by 31 December 2010. The buyer is Premium Participacoes LTDA/ Gafisa, a large Brazilian developer and construction company. DLH closed down its production facilities in Brazil in 2009, but will continue its procurement and export activities in the country, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network.
The selling price for the land and buildings has been fixed at DKK 51 million ($9.5 million). Furthermore, other assets for DKK 5 million ($935 191) have been sold. The Group will obtain an accounting profit before tax of DKK 15 million ($2.8 million) from the sale. The divestment will only have a negligible effect on the most recent forecast revenue and profit for 2010. DLH thus maintains its forecast for 2010, predicting revenue of DKK 3.6-3.8 billion ($673-711 million), an EBITDA of DKK 100-110 million ($18.7-20.6 million) and an EBIT of DKK 20-30 million ($3.7- 5.6 million).
