Imports from China increased 24% to Euro 56.4 million, while imports from Indonesia increased 37% to Euro 50.5 million and imports from Malaysia were up 26% at Euro 21.1 million.
Imports of wood doors from Brazil remained stable at Euro 9.3 million during the period.
Imports accounted for around 4.6% of the total supply of EU wooden door consumption in 2015, up slightly from 4.5% in 2013 but down from 5% in 2010.
