Jul 29, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. The equipment for the construction of a new paper mill was supplied to Nemansky from the UK, North-West Timber Industry Company spokesperson told Lesprom.ru. PM 9 will be installed in the new industrial building, the production capacity of the machine will reach 60 thousand tons of paper/yr. The contract envisages the supply of a dismantled PM with the additional equipment from the UK to Nemansky, as well as the installation and the launch of the PM guided by the British specialists. The equipment is delivered in several stages, the last container is due to arrive in late October 2004. The project is to be accomplished in autumn 2005 and the enterprise will start producing paper products. The investments in the project are estimated at $30 million. Presently the project works are underway, the contest among the building firms has been announced. The new mill will occupy the site of 15.5 thousand sq m. Uralbumproekt was elected general planner.
