When compared to the previous month, only spruce roundwood declined, slipping from Euro 67.47 to Euro 67.26 per cubic metre. All other categories recorded monthly gains, with the average prices in state-owned forests considered without VAT added, as HD FestForest reported.

On an annual basis, the strongest advances were recorded by pulp and spruce plywood, which gained 22.6% and 23.6% respectively.

Pine with a diameter of less than 18 centimetres experienced an increase of 17.9% year on year, while the broader pine variety was up by 8.5%

Spruce of less than 18 centimetres in diameter rose by 14.6% and prices for the wider spruce classification advanced by 11%

There was a 15.6% gain in poplar pulpwood costs, while the birch pulpwood, poplar and birch categories increased by 5.3%, 8.6% and 5.9% respectively.
