The total timber consumption in Finland is 70 million cub m/yr. Finland is the largest supplier of polygraphy to Russia. In 2004 Finalnd exportd 60 thousand tons of coated paper (50% of imports, used for advertising), 80 thousand tons of magazine paper (80% of imports), label paper (70% of imports), elite package cardboard – 80 thousand tons (50% of imports). Finnish timber and pulp and paper exports to Russia are estimated at $242 million.
