Jan 16, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Fox River Fiber has begun utilizing a $7 million wastewater pre-treatment facility designed to reduce the company’s environmental impact from its pulp manufacturing operations, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The De Pere, Wisconsin-based company is a leader among pulp manufacturers in turning post consumer fiber into high-quality pulp for environmentally conscious companies.

The on-site anaerobic digesting system creates cleaner industrial wastewater prior to releasing it to the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District. The company plans to sell the recovered biological solids to other anaerobic treatment facilities for use as seed in treatment towers.

Fox River Fiber is a privately owned deinking facility equipped with leading edge technology and focused on hiring top-level people to provide customers with the highest quality paper pulp.
