Hampton Affiliates announces holiday shutdowns at its Pacific Northwest sawmills
Nov 18, 2010. Hampton Affiliates of Portland, Ore., USA, extended holiday shutdowns at its Pacific Northwest sawmills due to various market-related issues. Tillamook Lumber Co., Morton Lumber Co., Randle Lumber Co., and Darrington Lumber Co. all will be down the entire week of November 22, while Willamina Lumber Co. will be down only for the Thanksgiving holiday.

All mills will resume operations the week of November 29, but may be subject to additional curtailments around the Christmas holidays. Hampton's Canadian operations will continue normal operations during the week of the 22nd.
