International Forest Products Limited ("Interfor") announced that Sandy Fulton, Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, has decided to retire from the Company effective February 1, 2012. He will continue to work with the Company on a consulting basis to oversee capital projects including the rebuild of the Grand Forks mill which is currently underway, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. Mr. Fulton joined Interfor in 2004 as Senior Vice President, U.S. Operations and was promoted in 2007 to his present position. "Sandy has made a significant contribution to the Company over the last seven years, most significantly in the design and construction of the new mill at Adams Lake in the BC Interior," said Duncan Davies, Interfor's President and CEO. "While we'll miss his wise counsel on a daily basis, I am very pleased Sandy will be staying with the Company in his new capacity."
