The Izmail pulp-and-cardboard mill, a major producer of cardboard and corrugated packaging based in the Odessa region, has resumed production after performing major repairs, which took place from June 24 to July 1, Ukrainian News reported. The repair involved reconstruction of individual components of the mill's cardboard machine and installation of a new equipment. The reconstruction raised the effectiveness of the mill's drying and improved the smoothness of its cardboard and other characteristics of its products. Moreover, the major repairs resulted in an increase in the operating speed of its cardboard machine. The mill produces over 600 types of corrugated goods. The Izmail pulp-and-cardboard mill and the Zhydachiv pulp and paper mill (Lviv region, Ukraine) are part of the Osnova concern.
