The increase will be effective immediately or as specific contract terms allow, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. While Kemira continues to take actions to minimize the impact of escalating raw material costs, it is necessary to adjust pricing in order to compensate for the increased costs of raw materials, energy costs as well as freight costs.
