Latvia's forestry exports totalled Euro 1.875 billion for the 2013, which represents a 10% advance when compared to the Euro 1.704 billion recorded in 2012. Timber exports were up by 10.1% year on year to Euro 1.613 billion.

totalled Euro 1.875 billion for the 2013, which represents a 10% advance when
compared to the Euro 1.704 billion recorded in 2012. Timber exports were up by 10.1%
year on year to Euro 1.613 billion, as HD FestForest reported.
Latvia's main forest
industry export partners were the UK - which received 13%
of the country's total forestry production - Sweden and Germany (both 11% each).
Imports of products related to forestry advanced to Euro 590.554 million
in 2013 - up by 17.9% on the previous year.
Latvia's main import
partners were Lithuania (20.7%), Poland (13.1%) and Estonia (11.5%).
