Jun 03, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. In January-April 2005 timber enterprises owned by Solombalsky (Arkhangelsk region, Russia) increased 6% 543.4 thousand cub m compared January-April 2004. In April 2005 timber enterprises owned by Solombalsky saw and timber-processing enterprise reduced logs removal 17.8% to 65.2 thousand cub m. Solombalsky was established in 1929, transferred into Solombalsky saw and timber-processing enterprise. The enterprise produces sawn timber for export – exports account for more than 65% of the turnover. Solombalsky also produces tare, joiner’s and buildng goods, wood chips for pulp and paper productioin. The sawing capacity of the enterprise reaches 700 thousand cub m/yr. The enterprise exports goods to the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Egypt.
