Operating EBITDA in the third quarter of 2012 was Euro 22.3 million ($27.9 million), compared to Euro 49.2 million ($69.5 million) in the third quarter of 2011 and Euro 32.9 million ($42.2 million) in the second quarter of 2012, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network. For the third quarter of 2012, we had a net loss of Euro 9.7 million ($12.1 million), or Euro 0.17 ($0.21) per basic share, compared to net income of Euro 8.4 million ($11.9 million), or Euro 0.15 ($0.21) per basic share, in the third quarter of 2011 and net income of Euro 1.5 million ($1.9 million), or Euro 0.03 ($0.04) per basic share, for the second quarter of 2012. Mr. Jimmy S.H. Lee, President and Chairman, said: "During the third quarter of 2012, NBSK pulp prices remained generally weak. Despite this, we generated Operating EBITDA of Euro 22.3 million, primarily as a result of strong pulp sales volumes and energy sales in the quarter."
