Jan 10, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Metsäliitto Cooperative and Finnforest Corporation will initiate statutory negotiations concerning the merger of Finnforest and Metsäliitto Cooperative. The negotiations concern the business support personnel of both companies in Finland. The maximum number of redundancies will not exceed 35. The statutory negotiations will begin on 18 January and are expected to be completed at the beginning of March.
