Mar 29, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. In 2004 Shatura furniture company (Moscow region, Russia) reduced net profits 25% to RUR 189.5 million compared to 2003. Shatura increased sales 4.7% to RUR 3.8 billion. In 2004 EBITDA reached RUR 544.8 million. In July 2004 the company launched a new project to produce particleboard. Within 8 years the company’s investments in the project reached $50 million. The enterprise entered the production capacity – more than 170 thousand cub m of particleboard/yr. The company plans to double production. Shatura produces furniture and particleboard, as well as performs wholesale and retail trade of home and office furniture.
