UPM-Kymmene Corporation has received an announcement under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Market Act, according to which Norges Bank's (The Central Bank of Norway) holding in UPM has fallen below 5% after a share lending transaction, where Norges Bank is the lender, on 5 April 2011, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. The holding of Norges Bank in UPM is 25,833,968 shares, 4.97% of UPM's shares and voting rights. UPM comprises of three Business Groups: Energy and pulp, Paper, and Engineered materials. In 2010, UPM's sales totalled Euro 8.9 billion. UPM has production plants in 15 countries and it employs approximately 22,000 people worldwide.
