The joint-stock company PAPCEL is one of regular participants and exhibitors at international paper industry fair PAPFOR which is traditionally held once in every two years in St. Petersburg, Russia, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network. The paper industry exhibition was organized by Reed Exhibitions under the patronage of Technical Association of Finland and Russian Institute for Pulp and Paper Industry. “PAPFOR presents for us the most significant exhibition regarding the Russian Federation. Its atmosphere makes it different from standard conferences or exhibitions organized in Middle or Western Europe. Our customers often use this opportunity to solve and close up offers in progress, or details of current projects. Therefore it is nothing extraordinary that a contract is concluded right at the fair which is a thing not so common for the Western European countries,” says Martina Pavlíková, head of marketing department. The exhibition has been successful for PAPCEL. The prominent customers of the company have visited the stand and also new contacts have been established. Among the important customers of PAPCEL who presented themselves at the exhibition, were Nikol-Pack, Uchaly and SCBK Sukhonskiy CBK. At Nicol-Pack, PAPCEL has completed a thorough PM reconstruction which presents currently one of the most important company references (the line was thoroughly reconstructed during the second stage of the project and its capacity has been increased up to 120,000 tons per year). The Sukhonskiy CBK project concerns a modernization of a s/h machine delivered from Canada and the customer has decided to install a brand new upper wire table. The financial volume of the contract is approximately Euro 40 million. Papcel more than 60 years produces machines and technological equipment for paper industry branch. More than 200 employees are involved in all projects.
