Three new principal members and one new associate member have joined the Paperboard Packaging Council, Converting Magazine said. “We will be 125 years young in 2010 and to maintain our youthful competitive edge we joined PPC to take advantage of their solid array of programs and events.” says Dan Shedd, President and owner of new PPC principal member Taylor Box Company. “We fully expect our participation in PPC will begin to pay dividends immediately and continue to well into our next 125 years.” Taylor Box Company is joined by Complete Finishings, a Philadelphia-based manufacturer of specialty folding boxes for the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, and retail industries, and International Paperbox, a Salt Lake City-based provider of a full range of folding carton services, as new PPC principal members. PaperWorks Industries, with two mills operating in Philadelphia and Wabash producing approximately 300 thousand tons of CRB paperboard annually, is PPC’s newest associate member.
