Putin to chair State Council presidium meet on agriculture
Oct 9 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin will hold a session of the State Council presidium in Orenburg on Tuesday to mull problems of Russian agriculture and related industries, deputy chief of the presidential administration Alexander Abramov has told Interfax.
The 2001 harvesting results will also be summed up. Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeyev will deliver the main report. During the visit to Orenburg Putin is expected to be shown several farms and processing facilities. Abramov said that the next State Council session will take place at the end of November or the beginning of December. It is expected to mull the development of medium and small business in Russia.
