The brighter market prospects of the company’s customer industries increased demand, which contributed to net sales growth. Technology services accounted for 26% of total net sales, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. The operating result for the 2Q 2011 was Euro 0.8 million positive, representing 4 % of net sales. The 2Q result was Euro 0.5 million positive and earnings per share were Euro 0.13. Order intake during the 2Q totaled Euro 9 million. Technology services accounted for Euro 4 million of the new orders. Order intake remained low because many of the projects that had been expected to get the go-ahead in the 2Q were pushed back due to uncertainties concerning market trends and financing. The most significant new orders were for the delivery of an automated veneer patching line and peeling line to Russia. Net sales for the 1H 2011 Euro 37.8 million, were up 26% year-on- year. Demand increased in step with the brighter market prospects of the company’s customer industries, contributing to net sales growth. Of the total net sales for the reporting period, Russia accounted for 33%, Asia- Pacific for 25%, North America for 10%, Europe for 26%, and South America for 6%. The operating result was Euro 0.6 million negative, representing -2% of net sales. The company posted a loss for the 1H 2011 due to additional costs incurred from the drawn-out implementation of some projects that were in the installation phase. The result before taxes for the reporting period was Euro 0.8 million negative and the result was Euro 0.7 million negative. Earnings per share (undiluted) were Euro -0.19.
