Rottneros' turnover in the 2Q 2018 amounted to SEK 596 million ($67 million), an increase of 26%. Turnover increased thanks to a higher price level for Rottneros’ deliveries, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

EBIT for the 2Q 2018 was SEK 94 million ($10.6 million), corresponding to 15.8% of turnover. Profit for the quarter was affected positively by the higher price level for Rottneros’ products and negatively by the higher pulp wood prices as well as by pulp price hedges. Fixed costs for the quarter were somewhat lower than for the 2Q 2017.

Turnover for January-June 2018 amounted to SEK 1,137 million ($128 million), an increase of 20%. Delivery volume decreased by 2% compared with January-June 2017. EBIT for January-June 2018 was SEK 172 million ($19.4 million), corresponding to 15.1% of turnover.

Rottneros is an independent producer of market pulp.
