Sawn timber production increased 3% to 86.3 thousand cub m, including sawn timber for export – up 11% to 55 thousand cub m.
National Timber Industry Company comprises Sokolsky timber-processing enterprise, Kipelovo timber industry concern, Severlesprom, Kirillovsky and Kovzhinsky timber enterprises (Vologda region), Ustiales (Akrhangelsk region), Ilyinsky timber mill (Karelia Republic), Ulianovsky timber industry enterprise (Ulianovsk region).
