4. Russian Arkhangelsky pulp and paper made a sum up for December 2003. Pulp production in December was 70,010 thousand tons, up 24,2% compared with the prior period in 2002. Commercial pulp production was 18,634 thousand tons (up 31,2% compared with the prior period in 2002), paper production was 7,032 tons (up 3,7%), package cardboard - 40,197 thousand tons (up 25,0%).

Total pulp production in 2003 was 770,745 thousand tons up 5,5% compared with the prior period in 2002, including 216,927 thousand tons of commercial pulp (up 6,6%). Total paper production in 2003 was 80,138 thousand tons (up 3,5%), package cardboard production was 432,931 thousand tons (+6,4%).
