The commission on Baikalsky reorganization tested the construction of sewag purification facilities in Baikalsk, Irkutsk regional administration public-affairs reported. The construction is undergoing the primary stage. In April 2004 the enterprise established a special revision commission including the representatives of the regional construction committee, Slyudiansky region administration, Sibgiprobum research institute, Baikalsy top-management and the contractor. The first stage envisages the installation of mechanical water purification facilities, including the manifold installation. The second stage envisages the biological purification facilities. The construction of the purification facilities in Baikalsk is the first stage of Baikalsky modernization, that is to be fulfilled by 2007. The reorganization includes the introduction of closed water circulation on the enterprise. The construction is funded by the regional and federal budgets. In 2004 RUR 20 million were allocated to the purification facilities construction in 2004 RUR 32 million were allocated from the regional budget.
