Russian Bratsky timber enterprise produced 476,140 thousand tons of commercial pulp, up 17,348 thousand tons (+3,8%) compared with the prior period in 2002, company’s public-affairs told Lesprom.ru. Bleached softwood pulp production was 206,799 thousand tons (+7% compared with the prior period in 2002), bleached hardwood pulp production was 241,733 thousand tons (+1,7%). Cardboard production was 200,14 thousand tons up 10,694 thousand tons (+5,6%) compared with the prior period in 2002. Total pulp production was 733,520 thousand tons in 2003, up 31,470 thousand tons (+4,5%) compared with the prior period in 2002. Bratsky power plant generated 191,4 million KWatt/hr and 3311,9 gigacalories/hr of heat energy. Up 17 million KWatt/hr (+9,6%) and up 186 thousand gigacalories (+6%) respectively above annual plan. Bratsky timber mill produced 128,925 thousand cub m of veneer, up 1925 cub m above plan.
