Jan 16, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Ladenso (Karelia republic) reduced timber exports 24% to 220,7 thousand cub m in 2003 compared with the prior period in 2002. Timber skidding was 250,1 thousand cub m (-8%), cross-cutting - 250,1 thousand cub m (-8%), commercial timber production - 178 thousand cub m (-13%), round timber - 178 thousand cub m (-13%). Timber exports in December were 18,9 thousand cub m, timber-skidding - 7,3 thousand cub m, cross-cutting - 7,3 thousand cub m, commercial timber production - 12,9 thousand cub m, round timber - 6,1 thousand cub m. Ladenso is one of the leading timber enterprises in Karelia republic. Presently Ladenso total timber production volume is 260 thousand cub m. Ladenso sales its production on the interior and foreign markets.
