Nov 17, 2003. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Svetlozerskles (Arkhangelsk region, owned by Solombalsky saw-timber and timber-processing plant) accomplished preliminary audit under FSC system. German GFA Terra Systems conducted the preliminary audit. The results proved the possibility of conducting Svetlozerskles certification under international standards. The company worked out the necessary internal documentation, regulating the collection and recycling of waste, rubbish, combustible materials waste, technological waste, diminishing the impact of timber-felling machinery and technologies on the soil and water, the cooperation between forestry security services and law-enforcement agencies and etc.
