Russian Arkhangelsky pulp and paper enterprise (Arkhangelsk region) reported pulp production up 6.5% to 407.465 thousand tons within 6 months in 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003, corporate spokesperson told Lesprom.ru. Commodity pulp production increased 3.3% to 112.049 thousand tons, paper – up 6.1% to 41.065 thousand tons, tare cardboard – up 8.1% to 232.92 thousand tons, corrugated products – up 8% to 62.8 million sq m, hardboard – up 3.3% to 264.2 thousand sq m, school copybooks – up 19.1% to 195.4 million pieces.
