Feb 16, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Russian timber sector exports increased 25.7% to $7.021 billion in 2004 compared to 2003. In 2004 Russian external trade turnover increased 31.1% to $278 billion. Exports – up 34.8% to $183.2 billion, imports – up 24.7% to $94.8 billion. Russian external trade balance increased $88.4 billion in 2004 compared to 2003. CIS trade turnover increased to $47.108 billion, trade turnover with Eurasian economic community – up 41.2% to $26.405 billion. In 2004 Russian external trade turnover with foregin countries increased 34.6% to $257.122 billion, including trade turnover with the EU member-states – up 36.6% to $115.916 billion.
