Swedish paper and packaging group Svenska Cellulosa AB (S.SCA) Tuesday said it had agreed to sell a 16.7% stake in German wood procurement company SCA Holz to ownership partner Thomesto. Following the deal, SCA and Thomesto will each own 50% of SCA Holz, which supplies their German production plants. The ownership change, which is subject to regulatory approval, will have a negligible financial impact on SCA, the company said. Thomesto is owned by Metsaliitto, SCA said.
