Södra increased timber production at Torsas sawmill
Södra has increased timber production at its Torsas sawmill by around 10% over the course of April. The plant has an annual timber production of around 85,000 cubic metres and it is thought the introduction of the new shifts will boost this to 92,500 cubic metres per year.

over the course of April, as KMS Baltics reported.
Output has been boosted by introducing two additional ten hour shifts
and the company's chief executive Hakan Svensson said the decision has been
taken as a result of improved market conditions and higher timber supply
levels.
The plant has an annual timber production of around 85,000 cubic metres
and it is thought the introduction of the new shifts will boost this to 92,500
cubic metres per year.
