Setra organises operations in business areas

Sep 23, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. With effect from 1 October the wood products company Setra will have a new top-level organisation with five business areas, the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
“Our aim is to streamline our business, create a clear business focus throughout the entire value chain from raw material to finished product, and through shorter decision-making paths become more flexible in our customer relations,” says Börje Bengtsson, President and CEO of Setra.
Five business area managers and one co-ordinating Business Director for sales of value-added wood products, primarily to the Nordic building materials trade, have been appointed. All have been recruited internally and will take up their positions on 1 October.
-Wood Products Director (also Marketing Director): Mats Ekström (currently Marketing Director).
-Business Area Manager, Wood Products, Central: Johan Johannesson (currently manager in Skutskär, Valbo and Kastet).
-Business Area Manager, Wood Products, North: Anders Olofsson (currently manager in Rolfs and Kvarnåsen).
-Business Area Manager, Timber Whitewood: Per Fredrikson (currently head of the Building Systems division).
-Business Area Manager, Timber Redwood: Jerker Nyström (currently Production Director).
-Business Area Manager, Raw Material: Tor Marntell (currently Raw Materials Manager).
Setra’s operations within wooden buildings and industrial building systems will be concentrated to the partly owned subsidiary Plusshus.
