Dec 17, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Sinclair Group announces Henri Haggblom as Vice President and Managing Director of Global Forest Products Business. Mr. Haggblom’s career spans more than 20 years and includes extensive manufacturing experience in the pulp and paper industry with UPM and M-real in Europe and with Mead and International Paper in the U.S. In 1995 he began his 13 years with International Paper, the world’s largest paper company, where he lead its global paper technology group and then became a paper mill Operations Manager. He was promoted to Manager of New Business Development and later to Director of Marketing of the coated papers business. For the last five years with International Paper, Mr. Haggblom was Director of Corporate Strategic Planning as the company implemented a new strategy and experienced numerous acquisitions, divestitures, structural cost reduction, new product developments and expansions to its geographic footprint. In March 2008, he took a new challenge to lead a private equity sponsored start-up company focused on biomass-based renewable energy business.
